Waikiki Aquarium
Waikiki Aquarium (the only major Honolulu Aquarium) is located on the far end of Waikiki. It is not as big as some mainland aquariums, like the Shedd Aquarium, but it is very focused on Hawaiian waters and does a very good job of portraying them. It is also not as crowded as mainland aquariums, so head over anytime. The kids especially will enjoy it.

The reef predators aquarium - mostly reef sharks and ulua (jack trevally)
The waikiki aquarium has a mahimahi hatchery with a goal of restocking the oceans with these good eating and good fighting fish.
One of the smaller aquariums with two clown fish.
The Hawaiian monk seal exhibit. It is possible to get quite close to these seals.
A shrimp like you would find in Honolulu tidepools.
An octopus slip-sliding down the coral.
The jellyfish aquarium was especially neat to look at.
The Waikiki Aquarium is located at 2777 Kalakaua Ave. in Waikiki/Honolulu.
