Big Island to Lanai Flying TripMy husband and his pilot friend flew from Hilo on the Big Island to Lanai on a weekend fishing trip in a tiny propeller plane our friend owned. They rented a 4WD and camped on the beach. If you want to fly to Lanai you could charter a small plane or you could contact Aloha Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines to see what they are offering or reserve direct through Pacific Wings. You also could take a ferry from Maui to Lanai for a day trip.
