Na Pali Coast

July 3rd, 2004

na pali coast

These (scanned) pictures were from a Captain Zodiac Na Pali Coast Boat Tour we took. Our boats were actually rubber rafts that only held about 8 people at a time. The water all along the Na Pali Coast was crystal clear and we could see hundreds of feet down.

A pod of dolphins swam right up to us and 'played' with the boat, swimming under and around it.

We saw several empty beaches along the way. The only way to get to them is by hiking, kayaking, or sometimes people will hire the rafting company to cruise in and drop them off at the beach and pick them up a few days later. Only trouble with that is the people have to swim all their gear in because the boats can't actually land on the beach or get very close.

This is a big cave the raft went inside of.
