Internet Explorer

First, go back to the page you want to set as your start page (hit your back button or right click and choose back)

Choose View from the file menu

Choose Internet Options from the drop-down menu

Click on the General tab

In the Home Page section, choose Use Current,

Click OK

Netscape

Choose "Edit" from the file menu.

Choose "Preferences" from the drop down menu

Choose "Navigator" category section

On the right side of the "Preferences" window look for the field titled "Home Page." Delete what's in there and type in the page address that you want to set as your start page

Click on the "OK" button.
