Hilo is a small town, so you won’t be able to stand on a corner and hail a cab, but when you get to the aiprort or arrive on the cruise ship the taxi’s will be lined up, waiting to take you to the hotels or the market or even to the waterfalls or Paradise Park or Kona if you are willing to pay for it. If you see Mario’s Taxi and Tours, flag her down. The owner/operator was very kind to myself and my son when we needed a ride from the airport to home one night.
