That's a lot of stuff to try to answer. You can contact the Oahu Chamber of Commerce and tell them you're looking to relocate and they should be able to send you a bunch of info and stats that will aid in your decisions.

You can also by the book "So You Want to Live In Hawaii" It is very helpful about prices, moving companies, etc.

These two sources should aid you in research that should mostly be done on your own to make sure your transition to the islands is a smooth one.
