Hi,
I am staying in Oahu for 5 nights with a car rental. I am interested in going to another island and want to know which I should head towards. I am considering Hawaii or Maui. We are gay and want to have a nice time, beautiful beaches, scenery and hiking.
Is Maui very much like Oahu?
Is the Four Season's Maui better than the Halekulani? Because maybe I can go to Maui and the Big Island and just skip Oahu.

This is the first trip for both of us and we are a bit stumped. We want relaxing and beautiful without too much hassle and the best bang for our buck.

Boy, this trip is the hardest I have ever tried to plan, even with a travel agent. Also, is the Big Island really stark and not as beautiful as Maui?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.
