How far from Wailea beach to Lahina

We wanted to stay in Lahaina on Maui, but - alas!- could only stay at the Marriott in Wailea because we are using Marriott points and they have restrictions, etc. Anyway, how far is it to Lahaina? Hubby is a foodie and will want to visit some chi-chi restaurants. Personally, I just want good food. Any suggestions? Thanks.
