1. Oahu. Honolulu have the best night life, even compare to many mainland cities.

2. I have not stayed in every Hotel, and they do change. Many do have ocean view. I recommend Hawaii Price Hotel, near Ala Moana. There's also the Oriental Mandarin (Kahala Hilton). I'm guessing it will cost over $300 a night. Hilton Hawaii Hotel may be another option. If you are looking for Mega Resorts, than Maui may be your best bet. There are many other hotels that may fit your needs without being 5 star hotels to help save a little.

3. I would say less than $100 a day for food, drinks, and night club will be plenty. Food $5-$10 per meal. $20 per at a restaurant for dinner. Drinks $4-$6 per. Some do have cover charge, so don't. I've been away for a while so I can't recommend any. But check out Restaurant Row, that was a popular place with several clubs and fine restaurants. There are many other good places to go. Many find restaurants do have a nice bar, and some also have a live band. Spats in Hyatt Regency Waikiki for example. It may be more layback with less "nightclub" scene.

4. Don't forget to bring along common sense and have fun. Enjoy.
