: In Hawaii, the travel seasons are: : Low season : November to mid December and January - March : Shoulder (prices between low and peak) : April to May and mid September - October : Peak: June to mid September and mid December to January : Hilo follows this to a degree, but in actuality, Hilo is not a typical tourist area, and therefore is not as affected as most places by the time of the year.
