Can't comment on Kona Reef. We stayed at Kona Magic Sands which was a Super location especially with all the surf going on last week!

If you are staying at the Outrigger Waikoloa and have kids, consider the Dolphin Quest program over at the Hilton Waikoloa. You have to sign up well in advance (all 20 slots are taken all the time). My son really enjoyed it and we bought the photos cause they are once in a lifetime shots! Check the batteries on your camera before you go though. Ours died in the middle (Dad got negative points for that one).

: Looking for feedback from anyone who has stayed at the Kona Reef condo complex. Doing a family trip in November and so far the first week we are doing the Outrigger Waikoloa (rave reviews everywhere) then moving on down to Kona for second week. My mom and bro are leaning towards the Royal Kona, if the Kona Reef condos are close enough hubb and I and 2 girls may opt for the condo and hopefully we can all enjoy some aspects of both places.
: Also any families on here that used the kids program at the Outrigger Waikoloa? may do that a few times
