: When my husband and I started planning our second trip to the Big Island we did talk to a travel agent and they asked us if it was an anniversary trip. It's not, but they said some of the hotels offer special things like champagne or a free dinner or special packages for people's anniversaries, so maybe call a couple travel agents and see if they know of any. Otherwise I agree the packages are the best deal. We are using Unitedvacations.com for our next trip.
