I was trying to figure out the price that the closed auctions have sold at - but couldn't. The three subdivisions the land is being sold in are not great subdivisions, they all have electricity and phone, but that's it. I especially would not want to live in Hawaiian Ocean view estates - that is in the middle of nowhere, with no rain, no grass, and no water, but the house's water relies in rain, of which there is none. the pictures of hawaiian ocean view estates are very misleading. The lava is not flowing in any of those areas, but black sands subdivision and nanawale are both probably lava hazard zone 2 (lava flowing in hazard zone 1). The Nanawale plot may be nothing but a big lava tube - who knows. Land is cheap though, my acre in Paradise Park is only worth 20,000 - and you could probably find acre lots where I live for 10,000 ....
