Vow Renewalby Stephanie on December 12, 19101 at 14:26:18:
Jim and I renewed our vows on November 13th on the island of Kauai. Our coordinators were Mark and Haunani Rossi of Kauai Aloha Weddings. They were amazing! We had our ceremony on a private estate on Kauai's west shore at sunset. We opted for the Hawaiian ceremony, in which a minister formerly from Niihau conducted the service partially in Hawaiian and partially in English. We had a musician who performed during the service and blew the conch at the beginning. Leis were presented to each of us. I had an amazing ginger lei, and Jim had a maile lei. A photographer and videographer were also present, and their work (which we've already received) was magnificent. Because it was just the two of us, I was afraid the service would be awkward, but the people from Kauai Aloha made us feel as though we were among friends. And might I add that the cake we had was the absolute best cake I've ever eaten. Our wedding cake didn't hold a candle to it! All-in-all, the experience was unbelievable. We even got to see the green flash at sunset! We truly could not have asked for a more perfect event. What I think is even more incredible was that they were the most reasonably priced coordinators on the island. For all of the amenities we had, we would have paid double at least at any other event coordinators. I would recommend Kauai Aloha to anyone! They made our renewal ceremony as special as our wedding!
