Hi- Lisa has a good map of the Waikiki area you'll be staying in. Click on "Specific Island, then O'ahu, then find where it says Waikiki, then you'll come to a picture which is the view from the Hanohano Room on top of the Sheraton! But click on Waikiki Maps. When you're at the map of O'ahu, just click on the longest zoom bar on the left. Your hotel is roughly on the beach at center bottom of the map. See Beach Walk? See Kalakaua Ave.? There you go. But trust me. When you get there, you'll find many free maps to get you around. If you're still uneasy about this, check out the map at http://www.hawaii-tour.com/gottago.html Just click on "click on map". The Sheraton is at #29. But check around here at the volcano alley some more as well. Lisa has lots of info here. On your running question, you'll find some room to run on the beach if you run TOWARDS Diamond Head crater (you'll see it, it's the big mountain on your left as you look at the ocean. You can run a mile or two on the beach with out too much obstruction, but there are low rock walls in a few places. But you can run down to Kapiolani Park and run around there as well. You'll do fine. ...and if you get there at 6, you'll basically be by yourself, for awhile, except for fellow serious runners.....I know I won't be there!!! ....and don't worry about asking too many questions ....that's what this is for! -Aloha
