Hi- As Lisa said, the Sheraton is basically the center of Waikiki, beachside. There are great places in, on either side, and right down from this hotel. Try Dukes, ashort walk down the beach (towards Diamond Head)or the Shorebird Beach Broiler, a shorter walk down the beach (AWAY from Diamond Head). And of course there are many other shops, restaurants and clubs within walking distance on the streetside as well. The shops inside the Sheraton, although very nice, will be expensive and you could get better bargains at the Flea Market or at the International Market Place in downtown Waikiki, again, a short walk from the hotel. The Flea Market is in Honolulu and you'd want The Bus for travel there. You could walk to the Hard Rock, but if you're in a hurry, hop on the trolley. But a cab will only cost a few bucks. -Aloha
