Hi All I guess most people have been at least indirectly affected by the recent catastrophic events and trying to put aside fears and uneasiness about going about our every day lives. It's not that easy these days, because unlike other disasters and terrorist incidents on a lesser scale and mostly far from home, we were witnesses to live coverage of the most terrifying event probably ever...here, here in our front yard. The magnitude of the loss of people, everyday people, hard workering people, tourists, moms, dads, son's, daughters, brothers, sisters, babies, people starting their day like on a day like any other beautiful New York or Washington D.C. morning.....only to suddenly know that death was imminent....and the courage of those who spent their last moments saying goodbye to loved ones. ..and of course the heroes then and now. It just boggled me...and still does. If we weren't aware of how precious life was before, we should know now....I am. We have our beautiful America, and our beautiful Hawai'i.....we'll mourn, we'll cry, we'll try to right the wrong and rebuild....and go on. Maybe we'll be smarter, but mostly I hope we'll respect one another as Americans. Live Aloha. That's all I'll say about that. Back to Hawai'i Nei. Glad to be here. Thank you Lisa.
