I'll add this, if you are going to the windward side of the island, then consider these places of interest: : Pali Lookout - it's where King Kamehameha won the battle for Oahu. : Haiku gardens (Valley of the Temples)- Does anyone know it's still open, or add to that? Not sure if its worth while? : "Chinaman Hat" - The view on the windward side is peaceful. : Kailua Beach Park - If you have time. One of the nicest beaches on Oahu.
