Molokai

Molokai is a small island, with less than 7,000 residents, and not one stoplight on the entire island. It is probably most famous for the long ago leper colony at Kalaupapa, a secluded peninsula. It should be most famous for its peace and solitude, not to mention its long, deserted beaches and spectacular views. I spent a spectacular anniversary in a quiet condominum on the south side, and enjoyed every second of it.
