Maui Beaches

Maui has excellent beach choices, and most are very different from each other, and different depending on what time of year you visit. Most of the leeward side of the island is rimmed with protected, calm beaches most of the year. Miles and miles of beaches line the major cities and areas like Kihei and Kaanapali and Wailea.

On the other side of the island there are even more beaches, but most of these are more action-beaches than just hanging-out-beaches. They're good for windsurfing and kite surfing -- stuff like that.
