Hawaii Car Rental Coupons and Rental Coupon Codes

Hawaii Car Rental Coupons and codes are sometimes hard to get because occasionally the rental car companies like to exclude Hawaii from their active deals. Here’s what I have been able to find that is available for Hawaii.

Coupon Codes

I used to have avis and dollar and enterprise coupon codes here, but I have removed them because the prices are really high when you go directly through them. I haven’t ever seen a decent rate by using the coupon codes. I had codes up for free upgrades and 10% off, but then it would come up with rates like $60 for a chevy aveo, and 10% off that is $56. whoopdy-doo.

Entertainment Book Coupons

The Entertainment Book always seems to have car rental coupons. I do a review of the Hawaii one every year here. Examples are: Save $25 on a weekly rental. Free double upgrade. 10% off standard daily rates. $20 off minimum 4 day rental. One free day. In 2009, as I write this, Budget, Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, Alamo, and National have coupons in the book. All or most of these coupons should be good for car rentals in Hawaii. Any entertainment book will have these same coupons if you want to buy the one for your area instead of the Hawaii book.

Ebay Car Rental Coupons

This is interesting. I haven’t tried it yet, but the next time I need to rent a car I will. go to ebay and search for car rentals. this guy (rgrs7) claims to be able to get you up to 91% off on your car rental. He has thousands of people who left positive feedback – one saying he got a $1000 minivan down to $108. that would be cool. He’s who I’m going to try when I do it.

You can also search for car rental coupons and plenty of people are selling real, paper coupons for all the major car rental companies.

Go Oahu Card Deal

If you are going to Oahu, you might want to look into the Go Oahu Card – they oftentimes have a free one-day car rental as a bonus choice with the 3, 5, and 7 day cards.
