Best Western Plaza Hotel - The hotel, while not a tourist / vacation hotel, is one of the most valuable hotels in Honolulu. With their close location, free transport, relative fast and dependable pick up upon arrival, and quick check in the Best Western Plaza is one of my favorite hotels. Generally people pick the hotel for what it is, a quick one night place to stay before going on the next leg of their journey; however it is located close to some major attraction sites in Honolulu.

As well as being located centrally and near the airport, the hotel has an average Food and Beverage selection, a clean and well kept pool, and a friendly staff. The rooms have refrigerator and coffee making supplies (which is important when you are arriving late at night or departing early morning). Rooms in their tower are newer and more up to date, typical Best Western Style, however don't forget their old section. While the rooms are not as nice in the older wings, they are clean and have patio doors going out to the pool area. The hotel is children friendly. While the Food services do shut down and are not open 24 hours (which would be nice as many arrivals or departures are during the off hours), many local restaurants will deliver to this hotel without a problem. When you have a quick stop in Honolulu and need a rest or break, look up the Best Western Plaza Hotel.
