Casa De Emdeko

I stayed at the Casa De Emdeko Condominiums for a week during July of 2005. There were four of us - two adults, a teenager, and my two-year-old. It was a very nice place to stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again. We got a fantastic rate (a little less than $80 a night) and we were very happy. There was plenty of parking. The location was half-way between town and our favorite beach (Kahaluu). Anything specific you want to know about the condo, just email me or post in my forum.

kitchen
Yes, this is my mess. I don't know why I never remember to take pictures of the places we stay before we dump all our stuff all over the place. Ah well. Kitchen was small, oven was old, fridge door was hard to shut - but dishwasher was new and cupboards were stuffed full of pots and pans and etc. The two-bedroom places looked like they had a bigger kitchen (we peeked in every lanai door we could as we walked by)

living room
This was exactly to the left of the above picture. That couch folds out. Even farther to the left is the door to the lanai.

garden
The view of the garden just off of our lanai - pretty. There's a fountain in there.

ocean view
I had to lean out over the railing just a little for this view

grounds
The condos are in a kind of big U with the opening facing the ocean and the pool and grounds and barbecues in the middle. This is standing in the open air lobby and looking towards the ocean.

The saltwater pool - freezing!

The regular pool. Small but clean and nice.

living room
the sandy area next to the saltwater pool. You can hang out here in the evenings and watch the sunsets. When we were there, there were some people feeding chicken bones to some eels on the rocks just on the other side of the sand
