Airlines that Fly Direct to Hawaii from the U.S. Mainland

Who flies to Maui, Kauai, Lanai, Big Island Hawaii, Oahu, and Molokai:

** Check with site for any changes.
** You can fly on almost any airline and get anywhere in Hawaii as most airlines will use partners to get you where they don't fly. This list shows airlines that have direct flights to any Hawaiian Airport, usually meaning less stops and plane transfers.

  • America West - US Airways

  • Flies from Phoenix, Arizona to Kona on the Big Island, Kahului on Maui, Honolulu on Oahu, and Lihue on Kauai.
Flys from Las Vegas to Kahului

  • American Airlines

  • Flies to Kona on the Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai.

  • Continental Airlines

  • Flies to Honolulu and Maui.

  • Delta

  • Delta flies to Honolulu, Maui, and Kona on the Big Island

  • Hawaiian Airlines

  • Flies to Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, the Big Island, and Kauai.

  • NorthWest

  • Northwest flies to Kailua-Kona, Maui, and Oahu.

  • United Airlines
    Flies into Honolulu, Oahu

Note - This list occasionally changes. An easy way to check what airlines fly directly into whatever island you are checking is to go to a fare checking site like expedia or cheapoair and search for your flight. An easy to read table and a list will pop up with available airlines into your desired city. I like cheapoair for cheap airline tickets

Note - Aloha Airlines and ATA airlines used to be on this list but both have gone bankrupt and stopped flying.

Thank you SO much for your information. I am trying to book flights to the Islands, and this information is hard to find on the airlines specific websites. Thanks for doing this research for me!

Thanks for this comprehensive list. It certainly makes the search narrower.

Aloha Airlines is no longer offering service. The same goes for ATA, at least out of the mainland.
