Hi,

Can't find the $9.99 link for the hawaii book (2005?) on your web site - only brings up the full price. Please provide the info or link for the $9,99 hawaii book advertised on your web site. (I am going to Hawaii the end of September 2005).

It appears that it the 2005 finally sold out. I just took that info off my site this morning - sorry if there was some lag between when it sold out and when you saw the info on my site. It does look like you can still get it on ebay though:

Good luck! Lisa

i am looking for a place online to advetise a cemetery plot for sale on oahu, hawaii. i live in california and don't know what type of advertising there is like there is here (e.g. ebay or craigslist is like an online sell all locations).

I think Craiglist has a Hawaii section and if you check at this search link: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLC,GGLC:1969-53,GGLC:en&q=808+classifieds you will find a few free hawaii classifieds, but I don't think you'll get a lot of takers there. You could also try the newspapers: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLC%2CGGLC%3A1969-53%2CGGLC%3Aen&q=hawaii+classifieds . Have you tried contacting the cemetary? Maybe they could connect you with someone or buy it from you. Good luck - Lisa

Its to late to order this book the 2006 Hawaii Entertainment Book in time for it to be here before we leave for Hawaii...Is there some place to buy it in Hawaii? Rick

10:42 AM
Lisa said...

Sorry- it's unlikely you'll be able to find the entertainment book here. If you are in a book store, you can check - sometimes they have them early in the year. Borders, I've noticed, carrys a few until they are sold out.

If you want to get the most out of your Entertainment Book, I suggest you trade Entertainment Book coupons at EntertainmentSwap.com.

I tried to reply to your email but your server wouldn't accept it for some reason - here's my reply

I don't offer any, but I can help you look - do you have a budget or a preferred price range? Do you have any idea where you want to stay? Have you looked at expedia or orbitz or vacation outlet yet? Lisa

re: the death of freddie morris. my
husband and I saw him and moku at a
small lounge back in 1991. We bought his tape and still play it.
We were shocked and saddened to hear of his death. The blog I read
said that he was a single father.
Do you know if something happened to his ex-wife? How old was his little girl when he passed away?
Did they ever accurately diagnose
his illness?
thanks for any info you can supply.

My friend and I each purchased a book prior to our trip to Maui and Hawaii for a total of $57. It turned out to be a waste of money. At least two restaurants were out of business. A common occurance was to call for reservation and only get an answering machine saying "Sorry, mailbox full". The only coupons we got to use was the Burger King. Hardly worth the $57 dollars we paid! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!

Are haolis welcome to Hawaii? I lived on Oahu from summer 1955 to summer 1957 and was a haoli boy the whole time. Now, if I return, will I still be a haoli boy?

Lisa said...

Yes, you'd still be a haole boy, but there's a lot more of us now. :)
